6 Reasons To Choose Grazing For Your Next Event!

Having grazing at your next event is a total win for so many reasons! Whether it’s a casual get-together, corporate function, wedding, or baby shower, here’s why we recommend our grazing platters are a brilliant idea:

1.) No Faff

Who wants to be the host that isn't able to socialise at their own party? Don't be caught in the kitchen juggling cooking times and rotating the oven shelf around. Having grazing platters completely removes the 'heat from the kitchen'! Our platters all arrive pre made and ready to go from the off set. They can be popped in the fridge until ready to serve. The box sizing has been designed to fit into standard fridges in the home. So all you have to do is simply slide the platters out of their boxes when ready and all the hard work is done! The timings for guests to eat is flexible as they can graze and nibble when it suits them. The grazing platters also remove all the washing up as the boards and boxes can be recycled or popped into general waste. The best part is any leftovers (if you're lucky to have any) can be slid back into the boxes and chilled again. We recommend eating our platters within 2 days of receiving!

2.) Beautiful Display

It's true what they say, people eat with their eyes. Our platters are designed to be show stoppers in their own right. We use artisan produce, garnishes and balance colour to ensure your platters are beautifully finished. They bring the wow factor to any function and encourage people to eat the food because it tastes as good as it looks! You also want to pay for something that is a work of art in a sense. They can make for great photo ops with guests!

3.) Allergen Friendly

Our platters are designed to feed 8-12 people per platter roughly. When catering for an event you can order multiple different platters to fit different dietary requirements. Whether it's gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, dairy free - we have platters for all different dietaries!

Simply order the amount of platters per dietary to make your catering stress free. Having the seperate platters and dietaries keeps it clear and structured for your guests making it stress free. Each platter comes with an allergen card to display next to each one, allowing it easy for guests to identify any potentially allergens on the platter.

4.) Inexpensive Catering

We personally believe in quality and quantity! We want our customers to be able to feed their guests well whilst not breaking the bank. Whilst artisan and local produce isn't cheap we keep our costs fair and more inexpensive compared to other catering companies and private chefs, but we are above supermarket platter pricing! We simply drop off the platters to your event or home allowing you to cater with them via a self serve style. We don't staff any events which helps us keep our costs as are. We also offer packages to allow you to get more for your money - and we give you the full 'grazing' experience! We typically can cater for anyone between £5 - £15 per head depending on the amount of food ordered!

5.) Perfect for Socialising

The grab, go and nibble culture of our platters allows for more socialising at you're event. No one is stuck with a plate and cutlery on their lap or at a table. The vibe is very relaxed to allow guests to freely help themselves on their own time. As the food isn't hot either it doesn't create a sense of urgency to grab food whilst warm and prevents ques of people waiting. The platters allow for an elegant feel at your event without the stiffness of formal dining. The platters also provide a niche conversation starter with guests due to the presentation and colours! So if you're worried about guests not mingling then grazing could be the perfect option!

6.) Pairs Well With Drinks

Grazing pairs so well with wines, beers, cocktails and mocktails! As we know cheese and wine is already a match made in heaven. When having drinks and food together it's important it all flows well and goes hand in hand with each other. Grazing offers so many tastes and flavour combinations to go with various wines, beers and cocktails. A lot of the acidity in drinks will help pair and cut through cheeses as well as complementing different flavour profiles.
